Dig Day October Doumont, Upper Armageddon and more
Doumont Road
09:00 – 12:00
🛠️ NMBC Dig Day
Join us in the woods! Whether you’re a seasoned builder or a total beginner, our dig days are a great way to give back to the trails we love and meet the local riding community.
Weather Policy
In true Island fashion, we dig in the rain, but not in atmospheric rivers. We embrace the damp loam, but if a major storm or high-wind warning is in effect, we will postpone. If you don't hear from us, grab your rain gear and we’ll see you there!
The Details
Meeting Point: Main parking lot https://maps.app.goo.gl/USm12mj5GEYRnJhPA?g_st=ic
Safety First: We’ll start with a quick safety briefing and project plan before heading to the dirt.
No Experience Needed: Our Lead Builders will show you the ropes. We focus on high-quality, sustainable work over speed.
Duration: Typically 2–4 hours.
Tools: All tools are provided by NMBC.
What to Bring
Gear: Durable, closed-toe boots and clothes you don’t mind getting muddy.
Layers: Bring extra layers to stay warm during breaks and rain gear for wet days.
Supplies: Plenty of water, a snack, bug spray, and a cell phone.
Food: [Note: If this session is sponsored, food will be provided. Check back for updates!]
Please sign our waiver before attending
See you on the trails!

NMBC AGM 2026
Wolf Brewing Company (940 Old Victoria Rd, Nanaimo, BC V9R 6Z8)
18:00 – 20:00
Join our annual general meeting
Once a year, the club stops digging long enough to decide what comes next. This is that night.
This event is open to the public. You don’t need to be a member to come.
Come hear how the season went and vote on who leads the club into 2027. It’s two hours, and it shapes the trails you’ll ride all year.
Members vote and get a free beer and pizza. Not a member yet? Join here before the night.
What happens
The year in review: trail work, events, and finances.
What’s next: plans and priorities for the next year.
Board election: members vote on next year’s board.
Open floor: bring your ideas, questions, and opinions.
Step up
The trails and the club run on people who show up. Pick your level:
Volunteer: help at a dig day, race, or ride. Come when you can.
Committee: work with a small team on trails, events, or members. Meets monthly.
Board: set the club’s direction. Meets semi-monthly through the year.
Put your name forward →
Board applications close 1 week prior to AGM.

NMBC Deadfall Course Wait List
Doumont Trails
09:00 – 19:00
Help keep our trails clear and our community rolling!
We’re gathering interest for our next deadfall course hosted by NMBC, which teaches safe and effective chainsaw use for clearing fallen trees on the trail.
We need at least 10 participants to run the next course — and we’re currently halfway there. Once we reach the minimum number, we’ll confirm the date. If there’s enough interest, we’ll look at running a second session.
The course is limited to 10 participants per session. To confirm your spot once a date is set, we’ll ask for a $180 refundable deposit, which will be returned upon course completion.
Join the waitlist now and be part of the crew that keeps Nanaimo’s trails safe, rideable, and storm-ready!

It’s the perfect excuse to get outside, meet the folks you share the trails with, and enjoy some fresh air together. We’ll have light snacks to share, prize giveaways from our awesome local sponsors, and plenty of high-fives to go around.
👋 Choose Your Way to Play:
Social Rider: Just show up and cruise! Perfect for meeting new faces and enjoying a laid-back group ride.
Trail Guide: Help us navigate! You don’t need to be a pro—just a friendly face who knows the turns. We’ll provide the map and a partner so you’re never leading alone.
🔄 Group Levels – Everyone is Welcome!
We’re a "no-drop" crew, meaning nobody gets left behind. We’ll build our ride groups based on who rolls up—so the more friends you bring, the more options we have!

Blue 🔵 Confident on greens and blues? If you like a little challenge and a steady climb—but want to keep things fun—this is your sweet spot.
