Dig Day Doumont: Crazy Horse
About this event
🛠️ NMBC Dig Day – Crazy Horse Exit Reroute
Join us in the woods! Whether you’re a seasoned builder or a total beginner, dig days are a great way to give back to the trails we love and meet the local riding community.
This session, we’re working on the exit reroute on Crazy Horse.
When: Saturday, November 7th, 9am-12pm
Where: Main parking lot
How long: Usually 2–4 hours
What to expect
- Safety first: We start with a short safety briefing and walk through the plan before we dig.
- No experience needed: Our Lead Builders will show you how. We care more about good, lasting work than speed.
- Tools provided: NMBC brings everything.
What to bring
- Sturdy closed-toe boots and clothes you don’t mind getting muddy
- Extra layers for breaks, plus rain gear
- Lots of water, a snack, bug spray, and your phone
- Food: if this session has a sponsor, we’ll provide food. Check back for updates.
Weather
In true Island fashion, we dig in the rain, but not in atmospheric rivers. If there’s a major storm or high-wind warning, we’ll postpone. If you don’t hear from us, grab your rain gear and come on out.
